It's finally CNY weekend, which means it's time to celebrate. Here's what you can look forward to this week.

1. Wild About 牛 Year @ WRS Parks

Wild About Niu Year

Start the Niu year with Niu perspectives and Niu friends from our wildlife parks! www.wildcny.sg

Posted by Wildlife Reserves Singapore on Tuesday, February 9, 2021

Celebrate the Year of the Ox with the animals of Wildlife Reserves Singapore. This year, animals like the sea lions at Singapore Zoo, cockatoos at Jurong Bird Park and capybaras at River Safari will be ringing in the Lunar New Year with lucky numbers, auspicious red packets and festive greetings in their usual wildlife shows.

In addition, your kids can catch a glimpse of animals enjoying special festive treats, or embark upon a 牛 (niú) Year New Friend Trail as part of My Animal Buddy, where they'll help three animals gather ingredients to make a festive ‘Lou-HAY’ platter.

The best part? Local residents enjoy up to 30% off on admission tickets during this period!

4. Celebrate Valentine's Day with bae

Last but not least, it's Valentine's Day this Sunday, aka the day where you spend hours with bae professing your love for each other. If you've yet to decide on romantic plans, why not plan a date at Jewel Changi Airport? This gem in the East has plenty to offer in the way of paktor ideas, from cinnamon roll kiosks selling special heart-shaped rolls for Valentine's Day to quirky craft workshops you can sign up for with bae and more. You can read our guide on the best date spots at Jewel Changi here.

Alternatively, if you're operating on a more limited (read: broke) budget, don't fret: We've compiled a list of suggestions on how to celebrate Valentine's Day without spending a single cent.
