What To Do During This Phase 3 Weekend (12-14 Feb)

It's finally CNY weekend, which means it's time to celebrate. Here's what you can look forward to this week.

1. Wild About 牛 Year @ WRS Parks

Celebrate the Year of the Ox with the animals of Wildlife Reserves Singapore. This year, animals like the sea lions at Singapore Zoo, cockatoos at Jurong Bird Park and capybaras at River Safari will be ringing in the Lunar New Year with lucky numbers, auspicious red packets and festive greetings in their usual wildlife shows.

2. Free Performances February: Cool Classics 2021 @ Esplanade

Enjoy live, free performances of classical music from both East and West at Esplanade this February. This weekend, you can look forward to three intimate duets that bring to life Western and Indian classical music through the piano, the violin and the veena, a string instrument commonly used in Carnatic music.

3. "Crystal Fireworks with Nature's Rhythm" @ Marina Bay Sands Digital Light Canvas

While fireworks won't be part of this year's CNY celebrations due to COVID-19, you can still enjoy a breathtaking light show at Marina Bay Sands' Digital Light Canvas. From now till 21 February, the limited-time seasonal artwork "Crystal Fireworks with Nature’s Rhythm" will be on display in celebration of the Lunar New Year. You can even use your smartphone to scan QR codes on the display and set off three-dimensional virtual fireworks made with thousands of light points.
