Of course, one can't talk about Mid-Autumn Festival without mentioning Gardens by the Bay's Mid-Autumn Festival Light-Up. This year, Gardens by the Bay (GBTB) is celebrating Mid-Autumn with a mixture of onsite and digital activities.

GBTB itself will be lit up by installations like the Apricot Grove, which features apricot flowers at various stages of blooming, enhanced with gobo lighting effect to simulate falling flower petals, as well as the Colonnade of Lights, showcasing 1500 paper lanterns that were designed and hand-painted by people from all walks of life.

If you prefer to stay at home, you can check out the virtual programmes this season has to offer such as Chinese dance performances, DIY crafting sessions where you'll learn to make origami lotuses and good-luck knots, a snowskin mooncake culinary demonstration and much more.

Other highlights include a series of short videos about Mid-Autumn Festival traditions, a lantern painting competition and Chronicles of Chinatown, an online escape room that will test the limits of your brainpower.
